These terms apply when you enrol your child in classes with Maths 2 English Tuition (“we”, “us”) and when you use this website. Please read them before you enrol. By enrolling, you agree to them.
Who we are
Maths2English Academy Ltd (company number 15170921, registered in England and Wales). Email [email protected] or call +44 7728 957969.
Our classes
We teach live online group lessons in Maths, English and Science for KS2, KS3 and GCSE/IGCSE, following the UK national curriculum. Each subject has two one-hour lessons a week, at the times shown on our timetable (UK time). Lessons take place on Zoom, and each class has its own page on our learning platform with the lesson link and class updates.
Your account
- Accounts are opened by a parent or guardian aged 18 or over, who is responsible for the account and for payments.
- Please give accurate details and keep them up to date.
- Keep your login private. You are responsible for activity on your account.
Fees and payment
- Fees are charged per subject for each 4-week period, at the prices shown on our enrol page when you enrol. Bundle prices apply when you take every subject in a key stage.
- You pay for the first 4 weeks when you enrol. Your subscription then renews automatically every 4 weeks, and the fee is taken from the payment method you saved, until you cancel.
- If a payment fails, your subscription is put on hold and your child’s access to their classes is paused until payment is made.
- If we change our prices, we will tell you before the new price applies to your next renewal, so you can cancel first if you wish.
Cancelling
- You can cancel at any time from My account, My subscription. There is no minimum term.
- When you cancel, no further payments are taken and your child keeps access until the end of the 4-week period you have already paid for. We do not refund the unused part of a period, except where the law requires it.
- Your 14-day right to cancel. Under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013, you may cancel within 14 days of first enrolling for a refund. If you asked for lessons to start within those 14 days, we may deduct the cost of the lessons already provided.
Lessons and timetable
- We may sometimes need to change lesson times or teachers. We will give you as much notice as we can.
- Fees cover the lessons scheduled in each 4-week period. Lessons your child misses are not refunded, but lessons can be recorded on request.
Behaviour and online safety
- Lesson links and passcodes are for your child only. Please do not share them.
- Students should be respectful to teachers and classmates in lessons, class pages and messages.
- We may remove posts, and may suspend or remove a student from a class for serious or repeated misconduct, or to keep other students safe.
- We take safeguarding seriously and will act on any concern about a child’s safety.
Our materials
Lesson materials, recordings, worksheets and other resources belong to us or our teachers. They are for your child’s personal study only and must not be shared, sold or published.
Our responsibility to you
We will provide our lessons with reasonable care and skill. We cannot guarantee particular exam grades, as results depend on many things outside our control. Nothing in these terms limits our liability where it would be unlawful to do so, including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
Your information
Our privacy policy explains how we use personal information about you and your child.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they last changed, and we will tell you about any important changes before they affect your subscription.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you have a complaint, please contact us first so we can try to put it right. You may also bring proceedings in the courts of England and Wales, or of Scotland or Northern Ireland if you live there.
